And so the JPL adventure begins…

Our U12 Performance team kicked off their JPL Warriors season with a fantastic victory away at Gloucester City Women Youth.

The team started with some initial nerves, which were settled by an early own goal just three minutes into the match. This opened the door for our attack, and the team quickly found their rhythm. A second-quarter scoring spree saw goals from Evie and Ivy, and despite a late push from the opposition, the U12s sealed the game with a comfortable final quarter. The team's strong finish included three more goals from Neve, Ellie, and a second for Player of the Match Betsy.

Betsy was named Player of the Match for her exceptional work rate and technical ability. She was a constant threat on the front line, netting two well-taken goals and coming close to a hat-trick.

The U12s showed great resilience and teamwork, a promising sign for the rest of the season. A special thank you to our hosts, Gloucester City Women Youth, for being such gracious hosts.
