The U15 performance team put in an impressive showing today, with the final scoreline not truly reflecting the quality of their play. For much of the match, our girls were the dominant side, demonstrating a calm composure on the ball and a positive attacking mindset. It was fantastic to see the team's improvement with every quarter.

Despite playing with only 10 players, the squad maintained control of the game and created some great moments. The opposition's goals came from mistakes that we can learn from, rather than them breaking down our defence. This is a testament to how well the team played overall.

What’s most encouraging is seeing the girls embrace our style of play. They are starting to truly believe in the importance of keeping possession, working together as a team, and trusting the process. With this level of commitment and attitude, we have no doubt that positive results will follow and we're looking forward to a very exciting season together.

A huge thank you goes to Willow for stepping up to play in goal today. We also want to give a shout-out to Phoebe and Marsha, who showed incredible dedication by giving their all despite not feeling well. We hope you both have a speedy recovery.
