Under 15 Performance Squad vs Fareham Town Youth FC
JPL Warriors Cup U15 Group 8
Our newly formed U15 side faced another tough test going up against an experienced Fareham Town side. Despite the daunting task, and with a squad of just eleven players, the girls showed incredible determination and spirit throughout the match.
The challenge grew even more difficult early on when an injury reduced them to ten players. Yet, instead of giving up, the team rallied. After a challenging first 30 minutes, they settled into the game, following instructions and competing fiercely against a strong and relentless Fareham side.
The girls managed to create some impressive moments of their own, playing good football and at times catching the hosts off guard in transition. Their hard work and perseverance paid off when Millie capped off a great team move with a well-deserved goal.
While the final score was a tough result, the match served as a valuable learning experience. The grit, determination, and desire the girls displayed today will be a key factor in their development. If they continue to apply themselves with the same attitude, improvement and future victories are surely on the horizon.
