Our U12 Performance team delivered a masterclass in attacking football today, putting on a dominant display that wasn’t fully reflected in the final score. The team showed a commitment to playing fast, through-the-thirds football, constantly looking to release their wide players with sharp, line-breaking passes.

The opposition's goalkeeper was under constant pressure, thanks to a relentless barrage of shots from our frontline. The team created an overwhelming number of goalscoring opportunities, and with a bit more composure in front of goal, the match could've been a runaway victory within the first quarter.

However, the team's otherwise stellar performance was marred by two frustrating defensive errors that gifted goals to the opposition. These lapses were particularly disappointing as the opposing team was otherwise limited to only the occasional long-distance shot.

The forward line's incredible performance was highlighted by an impressive feat: three different players scored a hat-trick each, underscoring the team's formidable attacking power across the board. Overall, it was a truly dominant performance, brimming with positive, forward-thinking play.

A special mention and huge thank you go out to the two injured players who showed fantastic team spirit by turning up to support their teammates from the sidelines.

Player of the Match was Niesha. Niesha was simply unplayable today. From the first whistle, she was a constant threat, terrorizing the opposition’s backline with her strength, blistering speed, and aggressive forward play. She not only scored an incredible four goals but also provided several assists. Every time she touched the ball, it felt like a goal or a brilliant opportunity was about to be created. She was truly the difference-maker on the pitch.
