Hampshire FA U13 Girls Cup

On Saturday, it was a tough day at the office for our U13 Performance squad in Hampshire Cup semi-final action. Facing a physically strong Basingstoke side, the girls gave everything but unfortunately came up just short in a high-stakes encounter.

While the cup run ends here, the team can hold their heads high for reaching the final four. We take the positives from a competitive performance and now shift our full focus back to the league, where the girls are determined to keep climbing the table. The experience of playing in such a pressurised semi-final environment will undoubtedly serve as a great learning curve for the squad.

Our Player of the Match was Sophie. Sophie competed brilliantly at Centre Back against a physical side, before being asked to move up top to lead the charge for an equaliser as the clock ticked down. A true team player!
