Under 15 Performance vs Ascot United FC

JPL Warriors U15 Purple Division

On Saturday, our U15 Performance squad faced a tough and keenly contested fixture. Although the team ended up on the wrong side of a 3–0 loss, the scoreline doesn't quite tell the full story of the grit shown on the pitch.

With only one substitute available and several players pushing through the game with injuries, the girls put in a massive shift. They competed physically and technically against a strong opposition, with the majority of the game played on even terms. Defensively, the team remained solid in open play, with the goals conceded coming primarily from unforced errors rather than being carved open.

The commitment and work rate from every player, especially given the limited rotations, was a testament to the team's character. We take the lessons from this one and move forward together.

The Player of the Match was given as a joint award to Abi and Phoebe for an incredible shift! Their work rate in and out of possession while playing through a tough game was second to none.
