Under 10 (Season 2026-27) vs Andover New Street U10 Ice Vixen

The U10 team were involved in a hard‑fought game on a difficult pitch, which made it challenging for both teams to play their usual football. Despite the conditions, the girls showed plenty of determination and kept working hard, even after finding themselves behind. Rather than letting the setback affect them, they dug in and gradually started to find their rhythm.

Their response was excellent. The girls showed real character to get themselves back into the game, scoring well‑worked goals through good movement, passing and teamwork. They stuck to the way we want to play, building attacks with patience and combining well in the final third. Every player contributed — whether it was winning the ball, making a run, putting in a tackle or supporting a teammate — and the collective effort was clear to see.

Overall, it was a fantastic display of determination and togetherness. The girls never gave up, continued to battle right until the end and showed exactly the kind of resilience we want from this team. A difficult pitch, a tough game and going behind could easily have made for a frustrating afternoon, but instead the girls showed great character to fight their way back into it.

Eliza delivered a superb all‑round performance. She provided two fantastic assists, showing great awareness and quality in the final third, and then produced a brilliant effort in goal, helping keep the team steady defensively. A standout display and a fully deserved Player of the Match.
