Under 15 Performance (Season 2026-27) vs Inspire Girls Football Academy

There were huge positives for the group today despite the final result. With almost the entire squad made up of U14 players competing an age group up, the performance showed real growth, resilience and promise.

Some of the football we produced and the combinations throughout the team were the best we have seen so far this season. The players showed confidence in possession, worked hard for one another and demonstrated exactly why playing in a competitive U15 environment will be so beneficial for their long-term development. It was a really impressive performance from a young group who continue to improve week by week.

One of the few frustrations from today's game was our reluctance to shoot and test the goalkeeper. When we finally started doing so in the last ten minutes, we looked much more threatening and were unfortunate not to find the back of the net. It's an area we can continue to work on, but the signs were very encouraging.

With our league campaign starting next week and momentum continuing to build, there is a real belief that this group can secure their first victory sooner rather than later. Today's performance provided plenty of evidence that we are moving in the right direction.

There were some real positives on display and, most importantly, some excellent football played throughout the match.

Players of the Match: Kada & Libby

Kada was excellent in possession, using her technical ability to remain calm under pressure and help link play effectively. She also impressed when playing at right-back, reading the game well, making good decisions and showing great composure throughout.

Libby delivered the consistency we have come to expect, winning her 1v1 battles and always making herself available to help the team play out from the back. Reliable, composed and influential throughout the game, she was a key contributor to another strong team performance.

A performance full of positives and one that gives the group plenty to build on ahead of the league season starting next week.
