42 Players Shine at Our Easter Masterclass Sessions

It was a fantastic day on the pitch this past Wednesday as we hosted our Easter Masterclass sessions, welcoming 42 players across three high-energy age groups. From our youngest stars to our senior youth players, the level of focus and application was exceptional throughout the day.

Led by one by one of our UEFA A License coaches, the sessions provided an elite-level environment where players could delve into the finer details of the game. It was also a pleasure to welcome several new faces to the sessions; seeing fresh talent integrate so quickly with our regular players is a testament to the positive environment we strive to create.

The primary tactical focus for the day was attacking play, specifically looking at how to exploit and finish from overload situations. Each group spent their 1.5-hour session working through various 2v1 and 3v2 scenarios, learning how to manipulate defenders, time their runs, and make clinical decisions when they have the numerical advantage.

Our U7–U9s got the day started with incredible energy, showing great bravery when driving at defenders in 2v1 situations. They were followed by the U10–U12s, who displayed impressive tactical awareness, consistently finding the "spare man" and using space intelligently. The day concluded with our U13–U15s, who raised the bar with high-intensity transitions and clinical finishing.

The progress made from the first whistle to the last was evident in every age group. Whether it was a overlapping run or a composed finish under pressure, the players showed exactly why these intensive masterclasses are so valuable for individual development.
