From U7 at Atalanta FC To Southampton FC U14s: Congratulations, Evie!

The incredible news just keeps coming for our youth setup. We are absolutely thrilled to announce that our talented Under-12 player, Evie, has officially signed with Southampton FC, where she will be go straight into their Under-14 academy squad.

Evie’s journey is another perfect embodiment of the Atalanta FC mission. Having been with the club since she first started kicking a ball as a tiny Under-7 player, we have had the absolute privilege of watching her grow, learn, and dominate on the pitch in our colours for the last five years. To say we are proud of her would be an understatement. Evie has been a joy to coach and a massive part of our club family. While it is always bittersweet to see our players leave our ranks, we know she is destined for greatness at the next level.

Most recently, Evie has been an integral part of our Atalanta FC U12 JPL Warriors Title-Winning Team. Weaponising her absolutely brilliant left foot, she helped drive the squad to championship success this season. Evie’s transition from a U7 Atalanta FC player to a Southampton FC signing is a testament to her relentless hard work, her family's incredible support, and the quality of the development pathway we provide here.

Evie is yet another shining example of our ability to grow elite talent from the ground up. With Reese recently heading to Chelsea FC and now Evie joining the Saints, the Atalanta FC development pathway is proving itself to be a true gateway to the professional game. We pride ourselves on providing a nurturing environment—built on our core values of resilience, courage, and self-belief—where players can thrive and prepare for the demands of academy-level football.
