From "Little Legs" To Chelsea Superstar: Congratulations, Reese!

Following closely on the heels of our previous academy successes, we have a very special, bittersweet announcement to share. Our incredibly talented Under-11 player, Reese, has officially signed with the Chelsea FC Women’s Academy.

Reese’s journey is the perfect embodiment of our club's mission. Joining us as a tiny Under-7, she quickly earned the affectionate nickname "Little Legs." While she might have started small, she has grown into an absolute superstar both on and off the pitch.

For the last five years, Reese has been an integral part of her team and the club she has called home since she first started to kick a ball. To say we are proud of her would be an understatement—we are bursting with pride, and we love her immensely. While we are sad to see her leave our ranks, we know she is destined for greatness at the highest level.

Reese’s progression and commitment to the game have been superb. Over the years, those "Little Legs" developed a massive footballing brain; her tactical intelligence and ability to read the game are evident to anyone who watches her play.

Her transition from her very first sessions as a U7 player to a Chelsea FC signing is a testament to her relentless hard work, her family's support, and the quality of the development pathway we provide here.
