Girls Open Sessions To Kick Off 2026

Atalanta FC is inviting ambitious young female footballers to its Girls Open Session on Friday 2nd January 2026, as the club looks to expand its successful squads for the new year.

The session is a golden opportunity for girls from Under 7s (U7) right up to Under 16s (U16) to try out and potentially join one of Atalanta FC’s competitive teams.

The open session will run from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM on Friday 2nd January 2026 at Wyvern College, SO50 7AN.

Atalanta FC has established itself as a leading club for girls' football development, with teams currently competing in the Hampshire Girls Youth League, the Testway Youth League, and the JPL Warriors League.

The club is committed to nurturing talent and providing a challenging yet supportive environment. Atalanta FC is excited to welcome new players of all skill levels who want to take their game further.

Participants in the open session will experience training sessions led by the club's high-calibre coaching staff, designed to give a true flavour of what it means to be an Atalanta FC player. The session will feature:

Guidance from one of the club's experienced UEFA A Coaches.

Specialist input from the dedicated Strength & Conditioning (S&C) Coach.

Targeted drills with the Specialist Goalkeeper (GK) Coach.

This focus on comprehensive, professional development ensures that every player has the opportunity to elevate their skills in all aspects of the game.
