We are thrilled to announce that our girls returned home as champions this morning after a stellar performance at the South Wilts Football League Invitation Cup!
In a fantastic display of club unity, we fielded a mixed squad featuring 12 of our U13s and 2 of our U14s. Competing in the 11v11 mixed-age tournament, the girls gelled instantly, showing incredible chemistry and sportsmanship on the pitch.
While the attacking play was sharp,the girls managed a remarkable feat: zero goals conceded. Maintaining a clean sheet across every single match is a testament to the focus, discipline, and hard work of every player on the field.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the South Wilts Football League for the invitation and for hosting such a well-organised event. We also want to thank all of our opponents; your warm welcome and competitive spirit made the day truly enjoyable for everyone involved.
