U9 Maroon team Ready for Hampshire Girls Youth Football League Cup Final Showdown

The stage is set at Winklebury Football Complex this Saturday morning as our U9 Maroon team prepares to compete in the Hampshire Girls Youth Football League (HGYFL) Cup Final. This match marks the culmination of an extraordinary two-year journey for this group of players. Since first forming, the squad has undergone a massive transformation, developing from a group of enthusiastic beginners into one of the most consistent and formidable sides in the County.

The U9 Maroon team enters this final with the chance to continue a dominant tradition for the club. We are incredibly proud to be returning to this stage, having won this same cup in each of the last two seasons. The girls are prepped, focused, and determined to bring the trophy home for a third consecutive year.

The team heads into the final off the back of a truly historic league season. The girls remained undefeated throughout their entire league campaign, dropping points in only two draws while winning every other fixture.
