U11 Autumn Division 3
The U11 Maroon team showed great character in a hard-fought match, demonstrating their development and a promising approach to the season.
The team started brightly, controlling the early possession with composure on the ball. They stuck to their passing and moving philosophy, just as they'd practiced in Friday's training session. However, the opposition became increasingly direct and physical, testing the girls' resolve.
After the break, the Maroons' confidence soared. They matched their opponents' physicality without abandoning their own style, which led to some excellent passages of play. Their efforts were rewarded with two well-earned goals.
Although the final score was a defeat, the girls' performance showed incredible resilience and a continued commitment to playing good football. It was a display of real promise for the upcoming games.
