What a thrilling start to the season! Our girls were absolutely brilliant in their first competitive match together, securing a dominant victory.
They kicked off the game with incredible pace and energy. Their individual skill was on full display as they weaved through the opposition and found the back of the net, rocketing to a comfortable lead by the end of the first quarter.
The second quarter was a testament to their fantastic teamwork. They moved the ball with precision, effectively using the width of the pitch to create space and opportunities. This impressive passing and ball movement led to three more goals, extending their lead at half-time.
The third quarter was a more tightly contested affair. With the parity rule in effect, the opposition tightened up their defense, making it difficult to find a way through. Both teams showed great determination and battled hard, with the score remaining unchanged.
In the final quarter, Atalanta found their rhythm once again. Their passing was crisp and decisive, creating numerous chances and allowing them to finish the game strongly. They netted another three goals to seal a well-deserved win.
