Under 8 Fire vs Hythe & Dibden Youth Meerkats
U8 South
Our U8 Fire girls were absolutely brilliant today, scoring five fantastic goals and showing off all the skills we’ve been working on in training.
From the very first kick, the girls were full of energy—running, tackling, passing, and smiling the whole way through. The first goal came quickly, and after that, the team just couldn’t stop! Every player worked so hard for each other, and it was amazing to see the teamwork on the pitch.
The other team managed to score twice, but our girls didn’t let that stop them—they fought back with even more determination and scored some beautiful goals of their own with goals from Florence and Isla C. The last quarter was very pleasing as we had some lovely passages of play playing out from the back and switching play.
Player of the Match: Isla S was fantastic today—working hard all over the pitch, never giving up, and always supporting her teammates. Well done, Isla!
