Our Under 8 Fire team delivered a fantastic performance today, securing an impressive victory against a tough and physically strong Pace Youth Lionesses side.

The coaches' pre-match emphasis on maintaining formation and shape clearly paid off. The girls showed great discipline and understanding, putting the game plan into practice from the first whistle.

Despite going down early on, the team showed incredible resilience and confidence. They didn't let the early setback faze them, instead focusing on working hard to find space, execute crisp passes, and showcase some brilliant individual skills.

As the match progressed, our U8 Fire began to dominate possession and create numerous scoring opportunities. Their determination and superb teamwork were evident throughout, culminating in a well-deserved win by the final whistle.

The goals were a testament to the team's cohesion and individual talent, with Florence, Isla S, Amelia, and Evie all finding the back of the net. Each goal was a result of excellent team play and sharp finishing.

Every player contributed to this fantastic result, demonstrating remarkable progress in just their third competitive game. The coaches were particularly impressed with the team's game sense and the non-stop effort from every single player.

A huge shout-out to Isla C, who was named Player of the Match for her stellar performance in defence. Isla was strong in her challenges and displayed remarkable composure, calmly passing the ball out from the back to the wide midfielders. A truly outstanding performance—well done, Isla!
