Under 8 Performance Squad vs Clarendon Juniors FC White
U8 Division 1
Our U8 Performance Team faced a challenging test today in only their second ever game together, taking on a Division 1 boys' team.
The girls showed impressive commitment to playing "our way," producing periods of truly superb football that highlighted the immense potential within the squad.
Despite the quality of their passing and movement, the team encountered a tough physical challenge. The opponents' pace and strength in attack were a great learning experience, exposing areas for improvement. We are delighted with the progress the team is showing, especially their dedication to playing structured football. Competing against physically stronger opposition is the best way for them to learn, and we are confident they will get stronger with every game.
A massive congratulations goes to our Player of the Match, Riana!
Riana was absolutely tireless on the pitch today and ran her socks off for the team. She fought incredibly well in her 1v1 duels and her relentless energy and determination caused the opposing boys problems throughout the match. A fantastic, competitive performance!
We have no doubt that these girls have so much potential and we can't wait to watch them develop over the next few months!
