What a turnaround! In just our third game of the season, the U13s White team put in a fantastic performance today at home against AFC Portchester, securing our first victory. The grit and determination shown by the girls was the complete opposite of what we've seen in the first two matches. They truly worked for each other and fought hard for every ball.

There were moments of beautiful football, as the team switched play and moved through the thirds just as we've been practicing in training. We could have had many more goals, but coming away with the win is the most important thing. This victory will hopefully be a much-needed morale boost and give the girls the confidence to kick on for the rest of the season.

Player of the Match was awarded to Georgina today. A fantastic all-around performance. You were strong, patient, and composed. You seemed to win every 50-50 challenge and never lost possession, always making the right decision on the ball. This allowed us to play forward quickly and consistently keep pressure on the opposition. Well done!
